Bruce Irwin Alexander Rollick
B.Sc., F.S.A., F.C.I.A. (1943 - 2008)
Bruce was born and raised in British Columbia. He attended U.B.C. on a Cominco scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Honours Mathematics.
During Bruce’s 40 year career as an Actuary and Strategic Consultant, he served as Vice President and Director of the multinational consulting firm, The Wyatt Company. In 1996, Bruce left Watson Wyatt and created SISS.
In 2000, Bruce hired and trained a number of associates and SISS began helping individuals build long-term, low risk and low cost investment portfolios designed to provide future income with a high degree of certainty. He developed a unique liability model which helped pension plans flourish during a time when other Plans faced significant funding and solvency problems. The investment model Bruce developed can be implemented and maintained, for individual clients as well, under any circumstance and continues to be the model we use today.
